Applications are now available for 10 AmeriCorps member positions. AmeriCorps members will work directly with youth by leading activities focused on literacy, play, art, and provide individual, small group, and large group learning opportunities. Responsibilities include supervising, monitoring, and ensuring the safety of the youth within the programs.
The Grinnell Education Partnership (GEP) serves as the coordinator for five summer programs:

Grinnell College Museum of Art
Grinnell Community Early Learning Center’s Grinnell Area Summer Camp

Summer Service Details:
Living Allowance $3,000.00
Education Award: $1,459.26
Start Date: May 28
End Date: August 2 or August 9

The summer collaborative service term begins Tuesday, May 28, 2024, and continues until August 2 or 9. Anticipated service hours will equate to 35-40 hours per week with varied hours to meet program needs.
